Bono sisters sparkle at state indoor track meet

On Saturday February 11, 2012 the Belleville High School Boys and Girls Indoor Track team competed at the state North Jersey Section 1, Group 3 Championships in Toms River. The Belleville Girls team was lead by the outstanding performances of sisters Kristy and Jamie Bono. Kristy finished 3rd in the 1,600 meters with a Belleville school record time of 5:33.91. BHS indoor track teams give valiant efforts at Essex County meet

The Belleville High School boys’ and girls’ indoor track and field teams gave good efforts at the Essex County Individual Championships at Seton Hall University last Sunday Feb. 5.The top three girls’ team were Newark Tech with 72 points, Columbia with 67 points and Mount Saint Dominic Academy with 38 points.
