John F. Krycher
John Francis “Frank” Krycher, 90, died Jan 24 at Sunrise Assisted
Living, Morris Plains. Born in Gloversville, N.Y., Mr. Krycher
lived in Belleville for more than 60 years before moving to Morris
Plains three years ago. He owned Krycher metal Spinning,
Belleville, for 25 years before retiring in 1960. During the
Depression, he worked with the Civilian Conservation Corps. He was
a longtime member of the Free and Accepted Masons, and a past
member of the Elks Lodge, Hillside. Mr. Krycher was predeceased by
his wife, Ruth, and daughters Betty Lou Roche and Barbara A.
Molinaro. He is survived by his daughter, Carol A. Johnson; seven
grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Mabel ‘Mae’ Paladino
Mabel “Mae” Paladino, 80, of Belleville died Jan. 26 at
Mountainside Hospital, Glen Ridge. Born in Newark, Mrs. Paladino
lived in Bloomfield before moving to Belleville 38 years ago. She
was a clerical worker for the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co.,
Newark. Mrs. Paladino was predeceased by her husband, Andrew. She
is survived by her cousins, Linda Cronin and Robert Headrick.
Leonard Danduone
Leonard “Sonny” Danduone, 84, of Belleville died Jan. 25. Born in
Newark Mr. Danduone lived in Belleville for 31 years. He served in
the Pacific as an Army corporal during World War II and was
employed by Anheuser Busch. Mr. Danduone is survived by his wife of
61 years, Rose; his children, Joanne Pitucco and Leonard; five
grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
